GARPA 23 – GrogHeads Advanced Research on Projects Advisory

It‘s that time again, whether you like it or not.  GARPA is back for another Friday of gaming projects funded by you, the fans.

Come watch Lloyd and Dan explore new projects or at least watch them talk to themselves about what, in their minds, constitutes a cool project. Cool is the operative word here since it is presently hotter than a snake’s arse in Arizona in the summertime over most of the known world right now. Remember…cool.

I AM ZOMBIE is a very unique take on the zombie genre.  As you can tell from the title you are a zombie, well sort of.  It is better if I let the game designers explain it.

“You are a Toxic, a victim of an age-old disease, the Scourge. The cycles of your life revolve around picking up and getting rid of Odium, a by-product of that which ravages your body. Odium build-up threatens to transform you into a mindless zombie – a Skag – whilst granting physical prowess. You might (sic) half-dead, but if you control your Odium, you can retain your humanity, at least some of time.

Warlock Four-Player AAR – Bartheart Round 3

Longblade: Bartheart started our four-player Warlock AAR but quickly ran afoul of MetalDog, who was moving quickly to attack his newly found neighbor. Things were not looking good for Bartheart, as MetalDog may be the most experienced Warlock player on the planet. Let us see how things are going.

Lost my newest city, no screen shots of that debacle… too depressing…

The Blue Horde is wailing on my skeleton city. I’m having severe food problems  making it hard to field any kind of resistance.

Panzer Corps Grand Campaign: 1939-1945

 Panzer Corps Grand Campaign: 1939-1945 is an add-on requiring either Panzer Corps or Panzer Corps Afrika Korps to play.  In this add-on the player takes the role of a German Commander of a combined arms force during World War Two.   Panzer Corps Grand Campaign includes ten add-on campaigns each lasting eleven or twelve scenarios.  The campaigns start with 1939, 1940, 1941, and 1942.  After 1942 the campaigns split into the eastern and western theaters of operation.  Choose the East and 1943, 1944, and 1945 will be fought in the USSR, Poland, and Eastern Germany culminating in the defense of Berlin.  Choose the West and you will go in 1942-1943 to defend against raids in France followed by fighting in Italy with German and Italian units.  1944 West covers Italy and then moves to the battles of Normandy and elsewhere in France.  1945 West covers the Battle of the Bulge.  Win enough decisive victories and the player has the opportunity to invade the United Kingdom.
