Scenario 4 – Operations Goodtime and Blissful

Turn 13 and reinforcements arrive

Turn 13 and 2nd raider group lands

Turn 14 breakout on South Mono

Turn 15 and 3rd depot destroyed

Turn 17 and all but 1 major objectives accomplished

Turn 17 attack up west coast road on Mono

Turn 19 attack on Mono east coast road

Turn 19 landing a big raid that found – nothing

Turn 20 and Mono attacks starting to converge

Turn 17 Jap defenders North Mono

Turn 23 Jap counter attack crushes raid

Turn 26 Jap air targets my arty but Jap ground defense is crumbling

Turn 29 and the end is near

Turn 27 victory

Post-Battle Analysis:

On the previous mission I concentrated my forces which slowed my advance and ensured I did not complete most secondary objectives. This time I split my forces. The North Mono landing of two Marine units was destroyed. I achieved my major victory conditions at the cost of two core Marine Units. Splitting forces is risky.
