Megacon’s Mercs: Recon Kickstarter package. 1st of 2 waves of stuff. Each box is a stand alone game, but you can mix and match most all of the parts to extend the replayability.
Brand spanking new, just outta the shipping box!
First up is what’s inside Assination Protocol.
Info sheets for each House/faction in the box. Important info on these sheets! Don’t discard!
Nice colour glossy rulebook that’s 16 pages. Lots of examples.. although apparently not enough…
Counters! Lots of counters. Office damage, heatlh and control markers, objectives and Opfor counters. 2 sheets!
The Chinese packers were a little “agressive” with the wrapping machine!
Large office tile and the Breach and Clear special tile. Both double sided and both survived The Wrapper.
Game board frame pieces. Holds the office tiles together and contain important game play tracks.
7 9″x9″ sheets of office tiles… also double sided! Although you can see some blank tiles…also double sided!
Control info boards for each of the 5 Mercs for each House.
Agent movement deck, Event deck, Security force deck and Employee deck… all mixed in one package…?
The Dice. Not the best quality but certainly readable/usuable. Megacon says we’ll get better ones for free.
Bases for the 20 minis in the box.
SecFor bag of parts, Kemvar bag of parts, and Keizai Waza bag of parts. Don’t mix!
Female Secfor II mini. Dramatic lighting shot… because the face detail is not the greatest.
SecFor I parts. Hope he doesn’t fall to pieces during a fire fight… just for you MD.
Body is keyed to parts so it’s hard to build incorrectly.
Matching arm with key.
Assembled SecFor I. Parts fit together well.. only spit holding this fella together.
Keizai Waza team… in need of a helping hand.
Closeup of Keizai Waza Pathfinder. Nice detail. Notice also the only bent gun in the box.
Kemvar team parts. Nice dynamic poses… or will be.
Closeup of Kemvar Shock. Only single piece Merc mini.
Now what’s inside the Counter Threat box. Note, not showing the cards, dice and bases as they are the same as the first box. Although the missions are different in each game.
Info sheets again but these didn’t quite make it all the way into the box before the lid was forced on…thanks packer dude.
Same rulebook, nice to have spares, but again the box must have been late for the truck….
Different big office space and B&C tiles. Great art on all the tiles.
Control cards for the Mercs in this game.
This game comes with SecFor I’s and II’s as well but in different sculpts! Nice touch.
EU Inc. team baggie. Some assembly required.
Closeup of EU Medic and Sergeant… well most of them anyway.
CCC body bag. Seems to have the most parts to assemble.
Closeup of CCC Leader. Lots of detail again… will be fun (read: difficult) to paint up nicely.
