Situation: The British 1st Airlanding Brigade is defending the landing zones for reinforcements to arrive just west of Arnhem. A hastily formed force, Kampfgruppe von Tettau, has been formed to counter the surprise airdrop, destroy the follow on forces, and break through the Brits to close the roads leading to Arnhem. Objectives are outlined in aqua colored circles. My plan of attack is illustrated with yellow arrows. At 18:22 on Day 1 Kampfgruppe von Tettau has just seen the arrival of a tank company of refitted Char B-1 tanks in the southwest. After a day of fighting my plan is simple: I have outflanked the Brits in the northeast and am pressuring them from their flank. My forces in the south have encircled the British in the south and my newly arrived tank company will push along the southern road to spearhead the attack on the southeastern objective. Halfway through the scenario my plan appears to be unfolding well. Let us hope things continue to go as smoothly.
