Section 8: Prejudice

You have to be insane to volunteer for the 8th Armored Infantry Division. That's why other infantry units in the USIF call us "Section 8." We are outcasts. Rebels. Our empire's unwanted bastard children. The generals want us disbanded because we make their formations look inferior and weak, but deep down, they won't touch us because they know they cannot win without us. We throw ourselves from troopships hanging in low orbit and "burn in" to the most hostile interplanetary battlefields in the galaxy. We are the innovators of modern armored infantry tactics and we reign supreme. Our weapons, armor, training and tactics have rendered all other units on the field obsolete. We burn our way across solar systems, butchering those who stand against us, while shocking those too afraid to resist into submission. By the time our enemies see us blazing down from the sky, it is too late. The tide is turning, and you, the ones we have come for, are about to die.
