Kerbal Space Program
After numerous failed attempts and the loss of countless Kerbal Kosmonauts in fiery explosions, Kerpollo 467 finally made it to the Mun. Here, the Command Module is preparing to enter a circular orbit above the lunar surface. If everything goes according to plan, the crew will perform a Descent Orbit Insertion (DOI burn) using the CSM Service Propulsion engine over the middle of the farside in order to place themselves into a 60 by 9 nautical mile orbit. On the other hand, there remains a fair to good chance that the Kerbal engineered vessel will be destroyed in a fiery explosion. Either way, Maldred, Adlorf and Bersun Kerman have already gone where no Kerman has gone before.
