FG Con IV - Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th May.

The most popular period was Friday - Sunday, but we've decided to go with the second most popular - Thursday to Sunday.  This is an experiment to see if there is enough interest to expand the convention onto "work nights".  There was little interest in running the convention over a longer period.  For those who wanted it longer - sorry, perhaps in the future when there is more interest...

Like in the past, we will be running globally and so will start at 6pm on Thursday 8th New Zealand time (GMT+12) until 11pm Sunday 11th May Hawaii time (GMT-10).  So, in GMT, this is from 6am Thursday May 8th until 9am Monday May 12th.

We are now working on getting the FG Con website updated and this will take a few weeks.

The rough timeline (very subject to change) is now:

   
• Up to week 2 February -> updating website.
• Now -> Getting the FG Con committee together.
• Week 2 February onwards -> FG Con website goes live for GMs to add their events.
• Week 4 February - Advertising for FG Con IV begins.
• Week 4 February Player registration opens.
• March - advertising continues and ramps up.
• April -> more advertising and pushing for players now, still trying to attract GMs.
• End of April -> finalize games, continued push for players.

No, not this time around. They run these over the weekends so its hard for me to find time since those are my work days. Its my understanding they are gonna star making these 2-3 times per year. I'd probably be able to get more involved in any summer dates.

Hey guys, followed a referral link back here so dropped in to say Hi!

44 sessions running now and about half the sessions still have room. Lots of Savage Worlds and Pathfinder. Also Castles&Crusades, BRP, FATE, GUMSHOE, Extinction Event, Champions and a couple of others :)

Its all free to play - no license required. Handful of sessions Thurs/Fri and Mon with most of the action happening on the Sat and Sun of course.

Well, I'm sold. I'm a completely newbie to fantasy grounds, but have been eyeballing it for an online savage worlds campaign. I can't imagine a better way to get my feet wet.

I've had FG II for several years, but RL time limits keep me from fully taking advantage of it since I can't commit to a regular time slot. For about a year, some years ago, I was in an 2e AD&D group over there playing some of the classics starting with the Village of Hommlet using Skype for voice. There are a bunch of good peeps and GMs over there, damned being one of them. If you have a regular block of free time I whole heartedly suggest trying to hook up with a existing group or try starting you own, especially if you live in the boondocks or just don't have a local gaming group.
