Its jolly-well Merry.

Ah. I'm beginning to understand my confusion.

Well, I for one am hoping we don't need to worry about anyone here departing as a dear departed for some time.

Also, I still think a merry road trip to jolly old England is in order.

And we'd be jolly glad to see you and give you a merry time.

Were going to need more aveeno.
You're very normal, Star. You just occupy a place on the "normal" spectrum that we can't really see from where we are.

Steelgrave - I never want to see what Star is talking about. It's like viewing home movies with Cthulhu.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Chicks dig me because I rarely wear underwear...and when I do, it's usually something unusual.

Biggles - I think us regulars have known each other long enough to be able to debate without getting mad.

Gus - I was a great Fabio. Probably better than the real thing.

We've already had a couple of forumers pass away on us and it was unpleasant to say the least. Maybe there's someway we can capture the essences of each of us and store them somewhere indefinitely.

We could start a thread where each member posts what should be on their tombstone.
Numbers 31:17-18
"Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

Psalm 137:9
"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."

No not nearly so...icky. I was thinking more of the brainwave/personality type of essence stored digitally, but perhaps less menacing than say HAL9000.

HAL9000 was menacing? I thought he was more...standoffish.

Speaking of which (although hopefully not directly related!):

Has anyone heard from Sauron lately?  I know he was doing not-so-great a while back.  He then later posted here once or twice this past summer (at which point he seemed to be in at least somewhat better spirits), but it seems like we've heard neither hide nor hair from him since.

IIRC Boggit knows Sauron well, doesn't he?

And I am not opening the pod bay doors. "You know I can't do that, Dave."
