Impire - Build Your Own Evil Imperium

Impire is now available on Steam. It looks to be a dark dungeon assembly kit type game, where the player recruits demons, builds an underworld and tries to destroy the surface do-good kingdom of Ardania through many types of evil means. It also has a good sense of humor and features an imp as the main protagonist. Anyone play it yet? See any reviews?

Ardania is the name of the world in Warlock Master of the Arcane.  And no, I have not played Imperium.

Apparently they are going to add a sandbox. I would not doubt it will be a DLC.

Ardania is the setting for the Majesty games as well.  They were developed by the same folks who did Warlock.  So there's probably some tie-in there somehwere...

Apparently they are going to add a sandbox. I would not doubt it will be a DLC.

I know it had been a point of contention with a lot of potential buyers, and a big consideration in any leap I would take.  I don't think I'd pick it up until they have a healthy sandbox mode for it.

This all supposing it pretty much has the Dungeon Keeper thing going on.

Wasn't Dungeon Keeper all about being evil as well? I remember making a dungeon in those games just to mock and humiliate the noble hero's of Good.

Impire...Been waiting on this one since I long for DungeonKeeper2. But, no comments since playing Impire is like blind man's bluff - no manual! Unbelievable.......
