As usual my gaming group will be playing some Tower Unite tomorrow night. The Hallowe'en event is still in full swing and I've just bought the biggest residence in the game, the resort, which is truly huge (there are no microtransactions by the way, this is all done with in-game money). After ooing and aahing at my resort I'm sure we'll play some golf or bowling, or maybe spend some time in the casino. The arcade will be opening soon!
I've been impressed by Armored Brigade (sic) since picking it up on a whim. It has some small annoyances, mainly around the UI, but seems to be a rather excellent tactical wargame fairly reminiscent of the Wargame series by Eugen Systems.
Despite hitting 1.0 development of AI War 2 continues apace and I continue to be impressed. It's a true, refined sequel to the first masterful game in the series.
I bought copies of Helldivers by Arrowhead Game Studios for my gaming group so we're trying it out tomorrow (I did play a lot of this on the PS4 a couple of years ago however). It should be fun, but since they're all idiots I'm a bit concerned about friendly fire, which is very much a thing - intentionally - in the game. It's great fun though, and I love how the campaigns are community-driven and still going today.
The centrepiece of the weekend, though, will be The Division 2 which has improved significantly since launch. It's a fantastic game to play with friends.
