No, that was in Season 2. Kirk and Scotty got drunk and carved that in the sand with the shuttle craft along side of their butt-prints to screw-up Spock's narrated tour of Mars for the senior members of the Federation Council. But Spock handled it well enough. He tells the Council, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the idiots".
