Greatest Films According to Grogs: 1980 Elite 8
« on: February 20, 2018, 10:09:48 AM »
Y'all didn't really surprise me in the 1980 Sweet 16. Lots of blowouts and only a few close calls; the latter were more of a surprise to be honest, such as Brubaker barely edging out Seems Like Old Times, and Smokey And The Bandit II just beating Fame. I figured Fame would have gotten blown out of the water, but nope, it had quite a few votes, and I was glad to see that.

The 1980 Elite 8 is going to be a tougher contest, so vote away!

BRACKET ONE: 1 vs. 8

1. The Empire Strikes Back

8. Caddyshack

BRACKET TWO: 4 vs. 5

4. Smokey and the Bandit II

5. The Blues Brothers

BRACKET THREE: 3 vs. 6

3. Airplane!

6. The Shining

BRACKET FOUR: 2 vs. 10

2. Stir Crazy

10. Brubaker

Results are for closers.

So just to be clear and double check, *I* can see the results, but *y'all* cannot, right?

I DID select the correct choice to not show results until after the poll closes - someone please confirm whether or not they see results after voting. Thanks!

I can see the results im the 90s 16 thread.

That's okay (for both the 1990 and 1980 16 threads), as the voting has ended for both.

What about the this and the 1990 Elite 8 threads?
