Don't know much about this one except Dan posted this pic in the Solitaire Wargamers page on Facebook last night, and that it's coming in 2016. If anyone hears anything more about it, feel free to post!

Do we have a projected release date for this?? I played the HELL out of B-17: QotS.

The design of this box cover makes OCD-me very, very angry.

Please parse out the actual TITLE of this game...

Sergeant at Arms of La Fraternite des Boutons Carres

One mustachioed, cigar-chomping, bespectacled deity, entirely at your service.

You didn't know? My Corps has already sailed to Berlin. We got there 3 days ago and we've been in the Tiergarten on the piss ever since. -- Marshal Soult, October 1806

I just came from DVG.com, and Amazon. Nothing. No pre-order, nothing. Any real news of the potential release?

Just Dan posting on Facebook that it's coming next year. No other specifics. I was hoping he might see this thread and post something, but I guess we'll just need to keep an eye out.

More about this on Facebook and I found it on BGG:  :D

QuoteHi Gerald.

Most of what you mentioned is correct.

The strategic aspect will be different from TAL... destroying targets will affect the number of Luftwaffe Squadrons deployed on the map. Also, the success or failure of secondary missions will impact theater fronts, which impacts Luftwaffe Squadron deployments to those fronts.

Regarding Escorts, depending on the Campaign year, you will have the choice of the following fighter groups: Spitfire ('42), Thunderbolt ('43+), Lightning (Jul '43+), or Mustang ('44+). In '42 and '43, your Escorts won't be able to escort the Bombers to long-range targets.

If this game is even remotely as good as TAL, then this is the gaming Holy Grail for me. Seriously. I'm almost ready to pop a chubby here.

Beserker games has a ton of print and play games..one of which is a WWII B-17 (and others) solitaire game.

This, and B-17: QotS, and the DVG version would make three...and I think three solitaire games of B-17 bomber operations in world war two may JUST be enough!

Also..look at Aces of Valor (WWI) solitaire flight game. That also looks excellent. I will almost certainly be giving these a shot in the next week or two..once I organize the missus (art teacher) into assisting with the downloads, card stock, reprinting, etc.

Oh..one quick question for those who have already purchased a Beserker game...are the pdf files sent available for more than one download? Sounds silly, I know...but if I screw up the download, can I give it another shot? Even better, can I save these pdf files of the game onto a local hard drive or thumb drive? Thanks in advance.

You can certainly save the pdf wherever, I have. As to multi downloads I think as long as you have the DL link you should be good to go.

OK, good to know. Thanks.

There is a sample mission of B-17 Leader on the BGG site.  Dan at DVG is expecting the Kickstarter to start at the end of July or early August. I can answer any specific questions about the game.
