Nefaro

A mix between X-Com, 4X grand strategy, and FTL style roguelike.

Looks like it has the kitchen sink.

Already hit the stretch goals.

Wow, it looks bloody good doesn't it?  Will be available on Windows, Mac and Linux and they're aiming for a December release, too.  Splendid!

Halcyon 6: Starbase Commander just came out of Early Access, into full release.

Very tempted to pick it up, despite my current gaming hiatus.

Oh good gawd no!  :(

JD: Not sure if you are saying 'good gawd no' because it's another game you'll have to buy or because it doesn't appeal to you at all? Personally, after watching the Steam trailer, I have no interest in it. Not saying it's a bad game, it just isn't my cup of tea.

Picked it up today and the above is a good description, fun so far in the first hour, definitely scratches that FTL itch.

Awesome.  I wanted some more rogue-ish games a bit like FTL, but at a different level.

I picked this up the other day. It has some interesting combat mechanics..lots of synergies between the various ship classes.

I like it so far..despite its cartoonish appearance, there is a surprising amount of depth to the game.

Every thing I have seen focuses on the combat aspect of the game, which quite honestly, doesn't really interest me. What about strategic aspects of the game, like base build, crew management, research, crafting, diplomacy, etc. How are these things fleshed out?

Pixel art leaves me cold.  I ended up removing it from my wishlist after watching a Let's Play.  At some point it will be in a bundle for a dollar or two, and I'll revisit it at that time.
