A WW1 Merchant Steam Ship by Kostas is under construction!
Still far from done but here is the first in game test of Kostas merchant ship.


This will allow for ship convoy missions in CK once it is done  :)

The scenery in this reminds me of a glider sim I had way way back in 1999 or so, are these the same guys making this?  I haven't seen the computer requirements anywhere,  what operating system required?

Looks like lots of fun stuff has been built.  A commerce raider ala Emden would be a nice addition.

Well first the mother game engine was made in 2009 and the graphics engine was updated in 2011.
Have no idea what game you are referring to but I would venture to say no.

Hi Hentzau,

I thought you might have been thinking of that game and that's why I said no!
The mother game engine VSF was made using the vehicle physics of Micro Flight for air and ground vehicles and the vehicle and water physics of Virtual Sailor for sea going vehicles and the scenery designer was made all new for VSF, I know this as I was there for the making of the VSF game engine.

Update!

The instruments are now in and working.


The bombs, pilots and gunners are now in and the guns are now working with animations.


The hit boxes are done and the game just takes all the parts and throws them everywhere
till I get the damage CFG done to govern the game engine on what to do with the parts.


And up up and away we go!  :)

Damage texture.
