Euro truck Simulator 2 keeps crashing when I try to change any of the graphics settings. The res is something ridiculous (looks like 640x480) and as soon as I click on another resolution, it crashes...everytime.

Any ideas?

with all of your recent problems JD perhaps a wipe and reformat is in order.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

lol

It hadn't been fired up in ages.

Turns out starting in Safe Mode (ETS2 - not Windows) and setting the graphics sorts it out.

So is this the best truck simulator out there?   I really think I should know something about trucks. lol
Stolen elections have consequences.

I bought ETS2 last night, 85% off, and am having a blast! Highest recommendation..and if you see a big blue Volvo with major dents and scratches, be very afraid! :uglystupid2:

It is actually a great game. Bit samey...but enough variety to give you a good run.

I haven't played it for a while and fired it up and back into the mood for hauling goods and building my wee empire

So you have played this a long time ago, then came back to it and it's not working?

That happens to me a LOT with Steam games. If I go months not playing something then fire it up, 9 times out of 10 it refuses to start.

Have you tried reinstalling your graphics card drivers Dredd?

..and using Driver Sweeper in between to make sure the old ones are completely gone.
