Rather good Napoleonic game single player as well.

I thought I got a bargain paying ten times this price, and I did.

The major complaints about the game seems to have been that it is not Europa Universalis, it is only a wargame and you can only fight the Napoleonic Wars. Well to use one of the provided emoticons - it's a Napoleonic Wargame  :uglystupid2:

64p  :crazy2: just to use one of the other emoticons  :)

Seems to me the major complaint about March of the Eagles is that it is pretty clearly an attempt to salvage something sell-able from the wreckage of P'dox's divorce with AGEOD.  My sense is that AGEOD had irreconcilable disagreements with PDS about how to create the successor to Napoleon's Campaigns, which is what MotE was originally touted as.  They parted ways, and PDS felt (not unreasonably) that they had to push the game, in some way, shape or form, out the door to get some kind of return on the cost of producing it.  But the game is and feels half-baked.  And witness Pdox's near complete neglect of MotE post launch.  It got a few token patches, and then was left to rust.

...still, who can argue with a $1 price point?

Not me. I bought it for $0.99 U.S.  ;)
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

In all seriousness. I have most of the games/sims out there but Steel Beasts ticks more of the boxes for me  O0
