Thanks for sharing your trip. I would go back to Edinburgh in a shot if I could. I had a great time there. I would love to see the Tattoo.

It was fun to be the one who talked funny. ;)

We have managed to go twice to the tattoo, and it really is an amazing experience. On both occasions, we had tickets for the last performance on the last day, and they pull out all the stops. Would love to go again, but you pretty much have to book up a year in advance.

The atmosphere is electric, both during the show and in Edinburgh whilst the tattoo is running. Great place.

...OK, I had to look up tattoo.  Looks/sounds like it'd be a great thing to see...

I did get two punctures this year, but I knew before I went I should've changed my tires. They are at their minimum for protection. But generally speaking the tires are only ever flat at the bottom and when I'm on it...otherwise, they've held out well  ;)

Those are some fantastic pics, JD.  Thanks for sharing!

Glad that you were able to make the trip.  Looks like a lot of fun.

Very cool.  My wife and I spent our honeymoon right in that area and it's always been my favorite part of the UK.  We saw a lot the same places, but from the car! :)

So a Canal with no Water in Scotland.... really  :o

JudgeDredd

That wasn't a canal - it was just a wee harbour - and we were in England then too  ;)
