Well I finally discovered what the problem was.  Or rather, someone in the Firefox support community figured it out, and I stumbled across their solution whilst searching Firefox support for answers.  (I'd noticed the issue had cropped up after the latest FF update, so I'd wondered if perhaps that was somehow the cause.)

Anyway, what I had to do was disable the "hardware acceleration" setting for Adobe Flash Player.  It turns out that on the more recent versions of AFP, having hardware acceleration enabled can cause certain videos to not play for whatever reason.  (Incidentally, it just hit me yesterday that most of the YouTube vids that weren't playing for me were at least two years old, which I'm guessing isn't a coincidence.)  I suppose that means that newer videos might suffer a bit performance-wise, but I prefer that to being unable to play older videos, a number of which I have saved to various playlists.  :)

btw, the correct answer is NO.

Don't worry.  I'm not even slightly tech-savvy, but at least I'm smart enough to *know* that I'm not.  :P

butt he is smart enough to clear his browser history.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Glad you got it sorted Martok!

Whenever I use or have used TeamSpeak in the current Windows session on my laptop, I cannot play YT video's anymore.
They just wont play a new one anymore and the current one has no audio anymore.

My desktop doesnt have this problem.
