Explained the latest news and upcoming meeting about the Campaign Series with Matrix/Slitherine. Then showed off what I was working on lately for the Iraqi's before we continued into the fighting around Port Said. The civilians are causing some interesting challenges. On the bright side the UK are finally getting their $hit together and making some progress. Oh yes, tanks hit the beaches! Woo hoo!

Longer-range ATACMS have apparently been used in recent days for the first time.  Previous ATACMS shipments were limited to the medium range (100-mile) weapons.  But we have apparently now sent them a number of the longer-range ATACMS that can strike about 180 miles deep, on the condition that they only be used to attack targets on Ukrainian soil.

The shipment that included the ATACMS was authorized separately from the recently approved authorization to supply Ukraine with another $61B of help, and was part of a $300M package that became available due to savings on other shipments.  Details are in the 2nd article below.

They were used to hit a Russian airfield and one additional site.  I'm honestly a little surprised that we don't have more operational security around what weapons were used when, but I guess this is the Internet age.
