For those of you who loved Witcher...here is a little nostalgia tribute celebrating Witchers 10th anniversary

I have to admit I actually got excited and a little bit emotional seeing these characters again all interacting.  Never had that from a computer game.

Meanwhile, Ysk and I have played our first of hopefully many turns to come, in Red Thunder! Once I have enough "footage" (five or six turns I suppose), I'll start putting together AAR vids.

As a preliminary spoiler, I am reasonably sure I am not losing yet!  :bd: Also, things are wet and grey. (And not only because I'm playing the Germans.)

How Sandbox is it compared to ARMA3?

It feels like they have unlimited resources compared to yours. They have more men.
I guess it's fine as it is how it's done in Pike and Shot / Sengoku Jidai. As long as they play by the same rules.

Boy this game is hard!
The AI in this game is up there with the best I have ever played against.

But it also cheats

I have been thinking about this one.  Some cheats I can live with and some I cannot. How does it cheat? Does it only cheat at certain difficulty levels?

Ok - AoW3 I enjoyed for about 25 hours. Never played MoM though, any version.

Finished two things since my last update.

Finished Burma Road (twice) and wrote a review that I'm not sure anyone read.

I also finished Armada 2526 on a Large map with 3 opponents.

The dev came here to Grogheads some months ago, to ask our opinion about what to call "Palestine", too. Generally we agreed that Palestine, despite being a Roman name from the late 1st century CE (or maybe early-mid 2nd century), would be more identifiable to players.

Naturally, there have been people in the Steam comments 'correcting' the devs about Egypt not being an Egyptian word etc.  ::)
