I've been keeping my eye on this, having read the whole series a while ago. Both I and Mrs B really enjoyed the books.

Idris Elba as Roland is a fantastic bit of casting.

The movie reportedly doesn't follow the books.

Still been looking forward to it.  Been so long since reading the series, I don't even remember most specifics.

When I hear Dark Tower all I can think of is this game I played the hell out of in the 80's:
