During filming of Airplane, Leslie Nielsen used a whoopee cushion to keep the cast off-balance. Hays said that Nielsen "played that thing like a maestro"

Very cool!  Surely that tale must have given Tolkien a few ideas, at least.  Thanks for sharing besilarius

WTF is up with that article.  Is the guy talking about himself in the 3rd person?

Reading that mess was like masturbating with a cheese grater.

"Beachcombing spends too much time in the capital.  Beachcombing thinks he should walk the dog and finish chopping up the body he hid in a ditch along the side of the road."

Staggerwing

That Beachcomber guy always writes like that. He has an odd affect but he does find all kinds of weird and interesting things to blog about.
Vituð ér enn - eða hvat?  -Voluspa

Nothing really rocks and nothing really rolls and nothing's ever worth the cost...

"Don't you look at me that way..." -the Abyss

'When searching for a meaningful embrace, sometimes my self respect took second place' -Iggy Pop, Cry for Love

... this will go down on your permanent record... -the Violent Femmes, 'Kiss Off'-

"I'm not just anyone, I'm not just anyone-
I got my time machine, got my 'electronic dream!"
-Sonic Reducer, -Dead Boys

Much like some of those RPS review writers semi-coherent writing that drives me nuts.

Don't think I could read that stuff regularly without clawing my eyes out.  You must be pretty resilient to mad ramblings.  ;D

That's nothing.  Listen to a meeting of flag rank officers.
They all need to get the last word in, so constantly cutting into a person speaking.
