I suggest you add your vote to the GOG Community Wishlist for Conquered Kingdoms. I don't remember ever playing The Lost Admiral 2, and I couldn't find it at MobyGames, but The Lost Admiral is on the GOG Community Wishlist. Sadly, only 30 votes have been cast for Conquered Kingdoms and 22 for The Lost Admiral. :'(

As for Empire Deluxe Combined Edition, I received my email from mok this past Monday the 27th of December and have the game installed, but I just haven't gotten around to playing it. :-[
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.
