What about the various re-releases of the D&D titles? Enhanced editions of Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment on Steam?

Hrmm.. RPGs with turn-based combat that I enjoyed?

Standard PC RPGs:

Pillars Of Eternity     (currently on SALE at GOG.com)

Divinity: Original Sin  (haven't played #2 yet)

Shadowrun: Returns/Dragonfall/Hongkong series (on sale at GOG)

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate

Underrail

Wasteland 2

Old style tile-based first person ones:

Star Crawlers  (on sale at GOG)

The Quest

Classic style roguelikes (procedurally generated dungeon crawls, i.e. "turn-based Diablo"):

Tales of Maj'Eyal

Dungeons of Dredmor

Invisible, Inc.

WazHack

Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup  (and a bunch of other freebies!)

NEO Scavenger

Caves Of Qud

Strategy/management style "roguelikes"
:

Darkest Dungeon

Battle Brothers

Mordheim: City of the Damned

Thea: The Awakening

Conquest of Elysium 4

*These have all been released or updated in recent years.

Wrong thread for PC games, but no worries.

Dragon Age: Origins  & Dragon Age 2 are both fun and can be had cheaply. DA:O and the expansions make for many hours of RPG goodness.

Try Spiderweb Software http://spiderwebsoftware.com/ for Avernum series and Avadon for turn based.

and also Basilisk http://basiliskgames.com/ for Eschalon

Spiderweb makes some really good indie RPGs.

I have Avernum: Escape From the Pit.  I liked it a lot.
And the One Song to Rule Them All is Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones

I think the second part of the series has been out for awhile now.

The modernized one?  Yes.

Bison

I get their RPGs all mixed up, but they are all pretty good and are HOURS of old school RPG gameplay.
