I kick myself in the butt every now and again for not picking up a copy of L2's Russia Beseiged at Prezcon several years back.  Some day it'll be mine...

Hate to kick it harder for you but I just got a copy of L2's RB for $50 in great condition.  :)

I'm still looking for a copy of the Titan gameworld book for the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

I wouldn't mind unpunched copies of Revolt on Antares or Saga either

The hell you say?  ???

I'd love a copy of The Gamers' "Last Chance for Victory" and also copies of "Armies of Oblivion" and "Doomed Battalions".  I'd throw in La Battaile's "Dresde" and "Moscowa" as well just because they look so damn good but I haven't even played the other games from the series that I do have.  "A World at War" would be another but only if a local player was nearby that knew the game inside-out and was willing to teach it.

I got lucky.  There's a wargamer's marketplace on facebook and I also watch the marketplace folder on CSW.  You never know when a good deal will pop up.

Compass Games is doing a reprint.  No release date yet, but they move through their pre-order list pretty quickly, so I guess we see it within 18 months or less.

My stupid grail game experience was when I turned up my nose on a chance to buy Azure Wish's "La Grande Guerre 14-18".

Saw it at the Historicon flea market for $75.  I passed, and it sold quickly.  I don't know what I was thinking....:(

Now I can't find a copy for less than $250, and will likely be waiting until heck freezes over for another $75 shot.

Cool.  I guess the question is an original "better" than a reprint?   >:D

I think it will be better, since it will be the deluxe version and contain the expansions.  This from board game geek forum:

https://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/1682667/compass-games-offering-russia-besieged-deluxe-edit

Russia Besieged - Deluxe Edition is an updated and upgunned version of the original Russia Besieged. Deluxe Edition will include all the expansion kit components in addition to fully updated and improved rules, charts, tables and map.

Russia Besieged - Deluxe Edition is a Compass Games production. Design is by Art Lupinacci and development by Rob Beyma. Publishing date will be in late summer of 2017.

My experience with Compass has been nothing but good to great.  They always seem to hit their release dates with laser precision.  Components and quality of rules are the among the best.  My only complaint about them is that they are a little pricey...but they always have a quality product.

I own a copy of RB but haven't been able to find an opponent to date. Open to trying it with Vassal if anyone is interested?

My RB is unpunched and would consider a trade. I paid a bit too much for it, making a cash sale...difficult.

btw, a premium edition of TRC (which RB is based on) is also in the works:

A copy of L2's RB just went up for sale on CSW Marketplace for $60:  http://talk.consimworld.com/WebX?14@@.ee7011b/82925

I need to look at some of the online sales.  There is a part of me that believes grail games should seek you out.  For example yes I could buy a used copy rather easily I'd think, but think how cool it'd be to go to a game store, used book/game store, flee market and see the game?  Anyway, I suspect eventually I'll buy a used copy online for sake of ease.

I can only dream of attending Origins at this point.  It's one of my grail conventions.
