Field of Glory Empires MP Game New Thread.

Hey guys, I'm Grognerd, and I'm new here! I am also "jimwinsor" on the Slitherine forums, and one of the playtesters for Field of Glory: Empires.

AND I am also the Seleucid player in this here upcoming PBEM game. With this new Grogheads account, this should give you all an alternate means of communicating with me diplomatically, should you so desire.

By the way, though I will buy and set up the game Thursday I will only launch it when everyone has logged in (hopefully quickly but to be fair to everyone they have until the 18th to do so if they need to practice SP first) so while we could see your nefarious scheme on Thursday you may have to wait a bit longer  :)

Breaking News : Historic Treaty Signed !!

After many hours of " full and frank" tripartite negotiations between envoys from Egypt, Judea and the Antigonids the Jerusalem/Palestine Treaty was signed early this morning in Judea.

Under the terms of the treaty the following steps have been agreed......

1) Within 20 years all Antigonid troops will be withdrawn from Palestine Province and Jerusalem.

2) In 290BCE Judean will be permitted to occupy both Jerusalem and Palestine Province.

3) Until that time Judea will be permitted to take any Nabatean Province regions (outside the sovereign borders of Nabatea itself).

4) Should Nabatea ignore Egyptian advice and seize any of the Nabatean Province regions outside its sovereign borders Judea can take these(and only these) regions back from Nabatea without Egyptian military intervention.


This treaty has been made public so the international community can judge appropriately any breach of this agreement by the signatory nations.

Hopefully. I posted in one of the other FogE threads that in my Pontus game I am doing reasonably well but I cannot tell you why, yet. I do get that 'just one more turn' feeling though and I think learning wtf is going on will be more fun than work. Going to check out the Dastactic videos too.

My next major campaign decision is choosing which neighbor to go to war with. My last great discovery was learning the links between manpower, food and my military. A lot of digital Pontus dwellers were not happy with my learning curve.

My big discovery was that the pride of the Egyptian Fleet looks very different when you screw up a naval invasion and leave the fleet out of supply.....truly horrible ....but educational. :hide:
