I always THINK I'm going to play the games in my library.   They all interest me.  I just don't do it.
This.  So very much this.

Over 200 games in my Steam library with over 2000 hours in the Total War and Men of War series easily. But the vast majority of games haven't been played or played for just a few hours. Probably have around 35 PC games, physical copies that is which includes the release day purchase of Everquest 2 which was something like a 10 disk install and a mint copy of Medieval Total War from CompUSA.
Also have a mint copy of Socom Navy Seals for the PS2 including that big box and the headphones. Had a bunch of console games I sold/traded in that I wish I still had.

By the way, is there a market for any of the old CD games?

I hope so...I have disc copies of Fallen Enchantress and Emperor of the Fading Suns and other goodies.

I have a disc copy of the original X-Com, probably the oldest disc based game I have.

Might still have the floppies to Master of Orion, but obviously those are worthless now.
Insert witty comment here.

I did have my C-64 floppies saved until Mom threw them out along with my GI Joes and Lego about 30 years ago :/

I do still have more modern disc based games like Shogun TW in my own basement still.

There are some sites (fewer now a days) that deal in old/new game selling/trading.  I've been a member/user of a site called GameTZ for going on 20 years (on Mar 21).  Unfortunately, there aren't many on that site interested in wargames...some, but not many.  Lately, I've mostly used it to grab cheap Steam keys (e.g. BattleTech and DLC for $2!).  There are still people that want the CDs, floppies, etc, but more and more trading/selling is digital.

...and yes, I seem to be more a collector that a player.  Got 225+ just in my Steam library.  The eye candy always gets me.  At least I have slowed down major buying the last few years.

Yup.  Traders on that site like to convert their leftovers from the Humble Bundles, etc into Paypal.

Sir Slash

I had a guy who's nephew was in Trade School studying Data Processing and he bought all my old Amiga games I had forever. He said his nephew could use them in his class-- I don't know what for but I took his money real quick.  :bd:

If you have a game that is no longer available (physical or digital) you can get a nice price :

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000HAUO4A/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

e.g. The Battle for Middle Earth II: Rise of the Witch King Expansion Pack starting at $74.99.

BFMA 1 and 2 are pretty expensive. They really need a remaster or a Definitive Edition, they were good RTS games.
