Rounded corners are engineeringlically proven to increase the attractiveness and combat strength of counters by 115%.

Like all stats on the internet....

Besides... how much engineeringlicallyness do you have to make such a statement?  ???

None! I'm a designer, dammit. I draw all day (kind of).

Though I DO agree with you, FWIW. Those counters be ugly. I couldn't resist the counter-rounding poking. You were rather stoic in your replies and didn't fall for the bait. :(

acctingman

I like the infantry art on those counters. Some of the best. GOD I wish I could make those and create my own counters  :uglystupid2:

Just had my lunch so I wasn't going for bait....

Has anyone played Panzer solo? What about OST solo?

The only game that is mentioned in this post that has solo rules is LnL. Just wondering how the other rules play solo (since that's my only way of gaming)

The next Panzer title: France 1940 is going to have solo rules.

The Last Hundred Yards....

:o Ugh those counters! The maps are nice though.

Engage and Destroy sounds very armour centric like Panzer and legs are an after thought.

I can afford to be picky at this point.

Interesting to note that most of the German counters are depicted as being from the 250th (Spanish 'Blue') division.

Is it possible to play any game with any boards?

For instance, could you play Old School Tactical on a CoH board?

Just curious to see if there would be any issues.

bob48

I duuno - compare (a) ground scale and (b) time scale of each game. That should give some indication.

Yes. I've seen people use the OST maps for other games. You would have to match up the terrain to each game for MP, LOS, Cover etc..

another thing I noticed....brick and mortar shops just cannot compete with online retailers. I can get BoB:GP for $49 online while a local shop is charging  $75.

Or you can buy my whole KS set with all the games and KS goodies for $125 plus shipping  :2funny:

PS: If you have the Heroes of Stalangrad PC game, you can get the feel of the LnL system.

Me? I would go with either Panzer or Old School Tactical 1/2. Conflict of Heroes is in the running, but I want Eastern & Western fronts  :)
