Really a shame, though.  The captain got carried away while chasing two destroyers.  Coming through the mist and seeing Hipper, he should have pulled away and called for Renown.

Wasn't there some speculation that Glowworm's rudder was damaged and she could only turn toward the Hipper, not away?
