I decided I wanted to paint those engine nozzles...so masking and hoping

And done...yaaaay

And then a dark dirt wash
This is always a scary moment. You've invested alot of time and anguish into building your model and painting it - then you're going to do WHAT?

Followed by a cement wash

I'm calling it done and moving on.

Granted I could do with removing more of the wash - but I've got to go  :dreamer:

Looks good.

Meanwhile I think I need another board game like a hole in my head right now, and should do something more productive...like get a model.

JudgeDredd

Yes - get a model. Come to the dark side  :knuppel2:

I'm thinking whatever first model I get should be a 1/35 or 1/48, but also that I might go look at Michael's just to see what they have. They used to have a huge selection, a whole row, and I think they still have several but I don't know. I remember a lot of model boxes being opened, missing shrink, and in various stages of abuse from stupid customers.
