I've begun work on a mod for Campaign Eylau that will be similar to my other Napoleonic mods.

The screenshots in this thread http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4542935 will show you what I'm talking about.

It will resemble the Campaign Leipzig mod more than the Campaign Jena mod, because I will be using the figures from the game.

The work is fairly straightforward, but there's a lot that needs to be done.

A soft ETA would be about three to six weeks. I don't forsee any obstacles, so I expect to get this one done as quickly as possible.

I haven't abandoned the Peninsula mod and the Republican Bayonets on the Rhine mod, but Campaign Eylay will be done first.

I recently made some important progress on RBR, so I plan to come back to it later in the spring. When it's done I'll tackle the Peninsula.

Today I finished mounting flags on the 3D infantry sprites.  Although I may eventually change my mind about which units carry which flags, getting the 3D flags in place is the last major obstacle to finishing the mod.  Now I have to fiddle with the bases and make sure all the pieces fit together.  It won't be ready this weekend, but the weekend after that is a fairly good bet.

Because of the way the snow terrain works, this is going to have to be a double mod requiring two separate installations: one for the winter campaign of 1806-1807 culminating in the battle of Eylau, and one for the summer campaign leading up to Friedland.  The 'light dusting of snow' terrain in the Eylau portion didn't look right because it was a weird combination of summer and winter terrain.  The summer terrain that gets used in the moderately snow-covered scenarios of the Eylau campaign have been winterized and won't look right in the Friedland campaign.  My choices were to have the terrain in both sets of scenarios look off for different reasons, or have two discreet setups where everything worked.
