QuoteTrue to form, there's precisely one brand of snack she'll actually eat.

Be careful...don't rush out now and stack up on that specific food. I walked into that trap before...I was glad Troja liked that one brand I found after she wrinkled her nose on everything else I dared to serve her. So next time I was at the shop I loaded up my cart with that food and came home greeted by a meow...with a smile I filled the feeding dish with what I brought home...the ruler of my house sniffed at it, looked at me with that special "disgusting!" expression and slowly walked away...learn to be a humble servant of your cat and she might tolerate you in the house  <:-)

Someone bring up laser pointers as a cat toy... ?

My doctor wrote me a prescription for daily sex.

My wife insists that it says dyslexia but what does she know.

Same tree my Ex-Wife used. Maybe she really was a cat.

Heh.  It is so not like that in my house.  She knows I'm the master around here.

Rule number one when playing with your cat... you always let them win - give them a challenge, but let them win.

About Christmas time, someone dropped off 3 kittens at our neighbors.  He's never figured out who did it.  So, being barn kittens, he made a spot for them in the greenhouse, since it was empty for the winter.  It's heated though, with the heat off of his wood burner.

The other day, he went out and there were 4 of them.  The fourth looked just like that one above.

Yeah someone gave me some advice two years ago - might have been Jason - that cats get frustrated if you never let them catch whatever it is you're getting them to chase, and I've always remembered that.

Well, you are new to cats so that's of course what you might believe...and what she wants you to believe...you are completely mistaken, trust me... ;)

It's not that cats like to win. It's they just like to beat you.
