My generic strategy is having one super tank as a blocker.  Use everyone else to pick off the spider spawn while the tank is 100% defense.  Then kill momma spider.  Splitting the group is a mistake.  Also scout slow to not reveal spawn spots.  It has been a while but the spider fight was not memorable.

Iron guy - can you hit him with a slow spell or attack to reduce the healing rate?

He reminds me of a High School football player who used to steal all my girlfriends. I would've liked to hit him with a, 'Slow' spell but he was pretty much already there.
