I may also have to revisit this classic.  I truly have not put in the time the game deserves.

Still absolutely hate that food mechanism, though.  I may have to find a mod to mod that out if one exists.

They probably just get bad press. I bet most times soccer teams fans stream through towns handing out flowers and kissing babies on their cheeks.  :-*   And we just don't see it. Or hear about it. Ever. Doesn't mean it don't happen though.  :hug:

Food is great if you keep producing enough food buildings as you expand.

Because producing extra Food gives you bonuses!   \m/

It's stuff like Sanitation that gets to be a pain in the ass.
