Metallica - GNR big tour was in '92.  Faith No More opened the first half of the tour, and Body Count had the second half.

There is no way on God's green earth that BC saw Taylor Dane.

Incorrect. It was actually the first concert I ever went to. A long, long time ago.

Gusington

^You're killing me BC.

OK then with AiC, it was another three-band ticket, one of which was AiC around 1991-92...that I also didn't get to see :/

Was it Clash of the Titans?

In the fall of '90, AiC went out as the opening act for Extreme's nat'l 'big club' tour for their Pornograffiti album

Here are only 10 of the Punk Type Bands we Saw
1] The Ramones
2] Bad Religion
3] Flogging Molly
4] The Queers
5] Mr. T. Experience
6] Groovy Goalie's
7] Green Day (who suck live)
8] Blink 182
9] Reel Big Fish
10] Less Than Jake

So one of these you didn't see? As a side note what the hell is a power pop band, isn't that an oxymoron.

Nope, saw all of them.  Goo Goo Dolls through Boy Named Goo is an example of power pop.

There's a full little game running around Facebook right now about "10 bands I've seen live"
The catch is that you're supposed to include one you didn't see, and everyone else has to try to figure it out.

I was just quickly brainstorming my original list just built around "bands people probably have at least heard of" which would rule out a lot of local Raleigh bands like Capsize 7 or Loose Cannon or Dead Cut Tree, and just focus on ones that at least had a national record release.  I stopped adding bands to the list at about 80.

So here goes a truncated list, including at least 1 I didn't see live.  See if you can guess which one  \m/
1. Follow For Now
2. Night Ranger
3. Cry of Love
4. Rage Against The Machine
5. Seven Nations
6. Neil Diamond
7. Lee Greenwood
8. Faith No More
9. Bowling for Soup
10. Saving Jane

Out of those 10 I've seen Faith No More (big radio station festival in Atlanta) and Bowling for Soup.  Bowling for Soup "played" at an Atlanta club, drunk off their asses, played badly, and had a succession of strippers come out on stage.  The combined weight of the strippers was less than the guitarist.  Fortunately, everyone kept their clothes on.

Ok I'm game

1. Van Halen
2. Creed
3. Jethro Tull
4. Flogging Molly
5. Our lady peace
6. Hot tuna
7. Rush
8. Erik Steckle
9. Curtis Salgado
10. The Pasadena band

Out of this group I've seen Jethro Tull and Flogging Molly multiple times.  The first time we saw Flogging Molly they opened for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and nobody had ever seen FM.

Out of this 10 only Joan Jett.  Would have liked to have seen Elvis.

Steelgrave saw Elvis...knowing this makes my life complete. Ok here's my list-

1. U2
2. Pearl Jam
3. Soundgarden
4. Alice in Chains
5. Radiohead
6. Nine Inch Nails
7. Faith No More

Out of this 10 we have seen Faith no More and The Pixies.  We saw the Pixies on their reunion tour at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.

Let's see... come on brain...

1) Meatloaf
2) Lee Aaron
3) ZZ Top
4) George Thorogood & the Destroyers
5) Supertramp
6) Burton Cummings
7) Genesis
8) Ray Charles
9) Aretha Franklin
10) The Blues Brothers

Well, seems I lied but there is one in there that's not quite right....

Fortunately, I've seen none of these.

Gusington

It may have been Clash of the Titans. My memory is terrible.

I don't know if I can even put ten bands together...

1. Taylor Dayne
2. LA Guns
3. Suicidal Tendencies
4. Queensryche
5. Iron Maiden
6. AC/DC
7. Bon Jovi
8. Blink-182
9. Collective Soul
10. KISS

Seen Blink-182 and Collective Soul out of this group.

Would have loved to have seen Iron Maiden and AC/DC - but the wife is not a fan of metal.  Kiss would have been fun just to see the stage show.

Collective Soul is highly underrated.
