Both are a very good read. :)
The most shocking fact about war is that its victims and its instruments are individual human beings, and that these individual beings are condemned by the monstrous conventions of politics to murder or be murdered in quarrels not their own. Aldous Huxley

It's kind of silly to investigate whether or not a Clinton is lying. That's sort of like investigating why the sky is blue. Banzai_Cat

Cool.  Will have to check these out when I have time (hopefully later this morning).

Thanks Boggit, and we've just added another, this time covering the German invasion of France in August 1914.

It looks as though my opponent is going to respect Belgian neutrality, which means a much bloodier fight along the French frontier, and unfortunately for me, no BEF to fight alongside me for some time.

Hi

Just a quick update as our game has now finished and the AAR is complete.

The Germans reached and entered Paris, triggering my French to call for an armistice!

Our German East Africa campaign AAR has just ended, with German forces occupying part of Portuguese East Africa and also British Nyasaland.

Major Kraut was probably the hero of the game, fighting a mobile war and frequently trapping and destroying British units in poor supply.

And von Lettow-Vorbeck returns home to a hero's welcome!

Both of those were dang amazing campaigns, but the West Front especially.

(The last I had checked on the campaign, the German thrust had stalled in the rain and mud at least 25km from Paris...)
