Truth. The period just never interested me.... still doesn't really but this game is interesting enough in it's presentation that I wanted to check it out.

Same with Napoleonic games. Never played one until this year at Origins when paznerde brought his Pub Battles collection. It looked so intriguing in it's presentation I had to play it to see what it was about.

I hadn't played much ACW until about 5-6 years ago. Now it's probably my second favorite period to game.
