I'm very tempted to play The Division 2 myself, but I already took part in a previous beta and I don't want to spoil too much for myself. I have it preordered (first game I've preordered in a long time) and I absolutely cannot wait to dive in in a couple of weeks!

I was going to get the new DLC for HoI4, a game I've stared at but never played, until I realized a new DLC for Mius Front was released today that features for the first time Panthers and on map Nebelwerfer in August '43.

Last night and today its mainly been/will be a mix of The Division 2 Open Beta and Subnautica. Did spend some time last night writing part of the mission briefing for my El Dorado Canyon CMANO scenario.

New headset comes in tomorrow. If it arrives early, I'll be spending some time in Prepar3d. If it doesn't arrive until later, I'll catch up on Elite Dangerous.

Flew with W8t and Tuna today several times (got high score for the Axis on one of my plays); and then I helped W8 get back up to speed (sort of) on WH40K: Dawn of War: Soulstorm. Our final match for the night was a fatal slog, though: we were in a linear match against Chaos Marines backed by Dark Eldar, and perhaps because I was in front as the Imperial Guard we got STRAIGHT MURDERED.

I mean, I was destroying both enemy teams a lot faster than they were killing off me, but the difference was that I couldn't make any progress while they could slowly cap points around me. I had a bad feeling at that point we were going to lose! -- and my bad feeling was correct. The computer just outplayed us -- and they were on standard, with no buffs. In hindsight, I should have pushed ahead to the middle relic point and captured it to start making an advance base there. The enemy would have flanked me into my central base, I suppose, although by then I might have had tank and arty support to guard my base (if not the Baneblade tank yet).

The good news, such as it is, is that after repairing a few corrupted files (CHAOS!! :pullhair: ) we were also able to get the Ultimate Apocalypse mod to work on W8t's computer, so we'll be getting murdered by whole other nightmares tomorrow! :D
