I came across a pack of four lynx in the wild near Anchorage, Alaska when I lived there. They were maybe 20 yards off of a rural road, just relaxing. I stopped to watch them for a few minutes until they decided they didn't like my company and headed to the brush. I was told that lynx sightings were very rare and to count myself as fortunate! Its an Alaskan memory I'll always treasure.
