But..what about his presentation?  It's due next week!

That's so weird I don't even know how to define it. Is it spam? Or something...other?

Wait, the links in his signature might be misleading?

But, he need a presentation for next week.

I was thinking they'd just be for whatever place might want said pretension.

We should be more trusting!

I'm sure the magnificent writing samples we've provided here were very inspirational.

I mean, I was just recently discussing the finer points of inserting dongles.

Surely this is relevant to his interests.

Ok, I've finally gotten to war time in my game as the UK.  I think I just figured out that I'm going to be very disappointed with the new Fleet/Task Force mechanic.  I was trying to set a TF of Home Fleet subs to convoy raiding by the German/Denmark coast while several patrol/strike force TF's run in the three sea zones around the british isles. I was also hoping to set my patrol TF's with cruisers in the sea zones closer to Germany (to catch raiders) while my escort convoy TF's are operating in the zones west of Britain. Only it won't let me.  Apparently a single fleet must have all it's active TF's operating in the same sea zones. It looks like I'm going to have to create a butt load of Fleets to run missions in the way I want.

Is this the way you guys understand the new naval system?

edit: I don't have the DLC, just the new patch.

You need to create a new theater to act as one area of operations for multiple task forces.

Set one entire theater to 'Home Fleet' and have the TF's operate independently underneath exactly as you wanted in your example with their own commanders.

In the screenshot below I have my Home Fleet set into individual task forces within the 'Home Command' theater which can operate entirely independently, as you preferred. Just create a new theater, click on a TF symbol and right click on a new theater tab to move them to the new theater. To create separate TF's within that theater, click on the fleet icon and right click on the top bar of that theater to create a new separate sub-fleet.

I spent some time googling naval symbols to no avail. Anyone know what these symbols mean? Thanks.

^Are those symbols part of a mod? I don't have them in the Ship Designer.

You can use this to find most symbols (it is the source he used I think) :

NATO JOINT MILITARY SYMBOLOGY - https://www.awl.edu.pl/images/en/APP_6_C.pdf

Ctrl-F will be usefull to search the pages.

Thanks Pete! This is exactly what I was searching for!

Update: Mousing-over those symbols in the mod gives the definition.
