I still can't believe you have yet to meet another Civ.

I think "militant garden gnomes" has become my new favorite phrase of the week.

Can we pick them up at our local Wal-Mart?

only until the Assault Gnome Bill makes its way through Congress

after that you need a background check and a federal license and Wal-Mart is too cheap for that

Brant, do you manage cities yourself? if so, could you (just in case i have not missed this part... ;)) elaborate on how and what to do in the city management?

I will set the production queues, but unless there's a particular short-term goal (like trying to get a Wonder built before someone else) I will almost never mess with the "citizen management" menu and change from "default focus" to something like "production focus" or "gold focus".  I have never dabbled in assigning specialists to specific buildings.
I don't often set cities to convert production to research or gold, unless there's a point where there are no buildings I want to build and I'm loaded on units and don't want to absorb the cost of putting more units in the field.

It will be interesting to see what you find when you land and start a new colony.

How do you queue production? All I ever seem to be able to do is one thing at a time.

How have you still not run into anyone else?  Well besides the one guy that you beat to death with puns.   :P    I forget what size map are you playing on?

For the uninitiated/uneducated, "venti" would be how big approximately?
