Hi,
I'm a long time board wargamer and now project lead for a tactical PC game. We have a new dev blog up on how board wargames deeply inspire the design:

I'm hoping to pick your brains on whether I am looking at the right aspects of these games or even the right games!

humbling looking very forward to your thoughts,

Nice read.

No mention of the original Warfighter series tho! ;)

BayonetBrant first love that avatar. Get a smile everytime I look at it. Where did it come from? Or should I be terrified! ;-)
Second, I feel shame now. Tell me about the Warfighter series.. .O Wait the card game from Dan Verssen games? Man haven't played but want to. Tell me what you think are its distinctive aspects I should look at please.  Very interested to hear on this one actually! This kind of input is why started the thread  :bd:

thanks,
  Luke

p.s. Hmm that quote you have at end looks very familiar. Have we spoken virtually before? (love Heinlein. Trying out the new "Starship Troopers" via Forever Wars which someone pointed me to online).
p.p.s. do you think a smart 8 year old could handle playing it with me? Work as two player team? Maybe I should play it with my son...

NOT the DVG game, the original Warfighter series from 10 years before Dan's game
