If you are in England, and you want to see the 950th anniversary of Hastings reenactment, you are out of luck if you don't already have tickets.

But interestingly, there has been some great discussion around if the traditional site is even the correct location for the battle.  Channel 4's "Time Team" takes up this question in a pretty good discussion of the problem....

Regardless, Hastings is a major milestone in the history of the English speaking world.
