Spelk, what's your reaction (assuming you've taken it for a spin)?

I did purchase it, but haven't had time to take it for a proper spin yet.

It seems to be a simplistic card game, that centers around a single central card (the hill) and your unit cards have ranges set around the central card, so infantry can only attack single card space ordinals (N,S,E,W of hill), whereas artillery can send fire across the hill and behind other units. There are supporting actions as well as offensive ones, so your placement of cards at the back affect your offensive cards on the "front line".

I hope to give it a good blast at some point.

I have to say that I like it. It's more of a advanced tic-tac-toe than a war-game, a game only lasts a few minutes, and it has a good balance between luck and strategy. Don't expect realism, but as a WW2-themed abstract game it's definitely a good brain teaser whenever you have a few minutes to spare.
