Synthetik - Cybernetic warfare rogue-lite

I realize this type of game won't appeal to many around here, but I have really been enjoying it. Its presently discounted and will cost only $12.74. Totally worth it, in my opinion.

The story is vague and loose, but you are essentially a cybernetic soldier granted consciousness to fight a rogue AI that has taken over some mega-corporation in order to destroy humanity. You are the last hope to save the human race.  It is basically a twin-stick shooter with perma death. Action is fast and chaotic, but the thing that has me coming back for more is the weapons. They feel extremely good and combat is very satisfying. Weaponry just sits right and the guns feel very destructive and powerful. There is an interesting mechanic that requires the player to eject empty magazines and reload. If reloads are timed right, a bonus is granted. I'm finding the game to be perfect for quick, but intense sessions. Unlocking new weapons and trying them out is half the fun...anyway, check it out!

Right there with you...it looks good, I watched the videos, but shoot 'n scoot just doesn't work for me anymore.
