Death Wish - oh dear

I mean - as an action film, it looks kind of fun...but they shouldn't really have called it Death Wish. IIRC Death Wish had ZERO funny bits in it!!

Death Wish had some funny moments in it, as did 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 (though the whole thing kind of became a farce from 2 on, with the first one being the most 'serious' of the five if I recall). I'm not sure if the original Death Wish series was intended to be funny or not. Golan-Globus, the makers of fine films such as Enter the Ninja, Delta Force (with Chuck Norris), Over the Top, and other cheesy 80s action films, took the reigns for both 2 and 3, so they both had hilarity in them - mostly unintended, but hilarity nevertheless.
