Dice Trays

I like the idea of a block on the lid...think I will try that myself.


Just FWIW...the hobby foam makes the dice rolling a little less noisy, and (as you can see in the picture) since I am using some custom dice from C&C Napoleonics, I want to help preserve the stickers and edges from knocking about.

That looks almost the perfect size. 

Would be nice to have a square or octagonal one that size.  The round ones tend to waste a little space since my maps, boards, etc that they're sitting next to all have straight edges.

Dice tray project is underway...

The dice tray and dice box projects I knocked out today.  The tray is approximately 8" X 8".  It's actually a little smaller than I wanted, but it looks good and works well.  I bought it and the chest box at Hobby Lobby.  The tray was $3 after the daily 40% off one item coupon and the box was another $5 plus $1 for felt.  I had the cork board at home as well as the stain/varnish.  Total cost was less than $10 for the kit and caboodle. The cork is available at Hobby Lobby too and runs between $3-5 depending on what you want.
