If anyone here does not watch the 6 Nations championship, you would be well advised to do so. It's a superb tournament between, well, 6 nations

Scotland, France, England, Wales, Ireland and Italy

First Weekend

  • Saturday 6th Feb
14:00 France v Italy @ the Stade de France in Paris
16:30 Scotland v England @ BT Murrayfield in Scotland
  • Sunday 7th Feb
15:00 Ireland v Wales @ the Aviva Stadium in Dublin

Scotland have a dire record against the English. I have tickets and will be at the game - hoping to be that "16th" player.

Rugby, or just in general?  ;)

Unfortunately, in general  :'(

theres a lot of pressure on hartley and jones - all the jocks have to do is blow a raspberry at hartley and hell have an aneurism and start fighting you all - job done

its not much of a plan, but better than youve had in the past!

JudgeDredd

lol - that is a tactic worth considering. You know he'll explode!  O0

Well...that didn't go to plan.  ::)

Well done England. Hard match but played well enough to take the win.

In the interest of impartiality (and even though it's the Auld Enemy) - and also I meant to post this last week but I was in Wales and I forgot.

Well done England - strong win against Italy last week

I will take this position - shame it's 3 games in!

Ref was atrocious (yeah...someone whinging about the ref even though they won). He was giving Italy an absolute age in the ruck when Scotland were counter rucking. Scotland also played the game with 14 men (twice)...second time was definitely a yellow as it was a deliberate knock on...first one, not sure.

But even being 2 men down (again - no issue with that) and the ref not calling Italy on holding on in the ruck, Scotland got a very well deserved win.

Good luck today for both England and Ireland. I'm hoping for an exciting game.

Good luck with that. What little I've seen of the games makes me think that the NH teams have learnt nothing from the World Cup.  Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere of the 6Ns is second to none but the rugby itself is dire compared to what we get down here.

Gen. Freyberg: "Well, if you wave at them they'll usually wave back."
