Well, our "basement" is just the huge lower level room where the house is cut into the side of the hill, with the built-in library shelves, fireplace, Xbox, Christmas tree, well-stocked bar, separate bathroom, and guest bedroom, as well as the big doors out to the patio.  So yeah, "please don't throw me in the briar patch, Br'er Fox!"

Coming back into the uk from a trip abroad a customs official stopped me for a random inspection and held up my bag of old pants from the week away and took offence when I said 'do not check in there'
